This is just a place to post random (yet CZ/Firearm related) pictures. Hopefully we can keep it going. These Pic of the Day threads can be a lot of fun, and a great way for us to get to know each other. Anyway, here's mine...

Come on, guys. I'll wait and see if anyone else is interested and if not I will delete the thread.
-
na leave it up. I have Boards up that haven't had any posts as yet, and we are young. Let folks get to know where everything is and lets see how this board goes.
-
I'm sad that this thread has received no love... Come on, guys! Pictures (properly hosted elsewhere  ) add so much value!

Thanks, I believe they are CZ Custom cocobolos. I bought them from someone on this sight, or maybe the other one.

Hello all,
I'm new here. I'm a shooter from South Africa. These are pictures I took of my new CZ SP-01 Shadow. What do you think?

Very nice shot GM! I like the other ones too, but the watermark is a bit obtrusive. I understand the perceived need for them though
-
We have some very shiny toys posted here. I hope I never have to pick a favorite. not sure I could.
-
Prodigal, welcome.
Your CZ SP-01 Shadow is sweet.

Love the Picture! Love the pistol! Can't say as I have ever seen anyone polish their rounds before. Think it helps with accuracy, since if they are cleaned all the way around they won't be overbalanced by tarnish and dust on one side more than the other? J/K Could not pas that one up. They really do look great polished, and I'm figuring that you did that for the picture. Well done BTW. good balance, layout, symmetry?
-
Those are right-out-of-the-box Sellier & Bellot rounds in the pic... That's how they come!
I'm reloading 7.62x25's now and it's going pretty well... More fussy than .38's of course but it's do-able with a lot of patience.
Glad you like the pic... It's where two of my favorite hobbies merge.
-
Never saw Sellier & Bellot rounds before which is why I was surprised. I keep forgetting they still make ammunition for the 52's. I a have only ever used surplus, and I have enough of that for a while longer. Still great pics!
-
I had a strange experience with the Sellier and Belot ammo I used the other day. Had a misfire, and when I racked the slide, a primer fell out of the chamber... Bullet just fell apart... Very odd.
-
Actually Dan I think someone just said something about that very thing just within the last week. They had a lot more than one bad round. do a Forum search for the brand and see if I got the name correct. Guy was justifiably unamused. Sorry I would look also but I'm getting way past sick to my stomach. gotta go lay down. Freaking cataract!!

Mine for the day...

I guess this is the "Dan has too much spare time on his hands. Somehow..." thread...
Should have polished the blue, but I was too excited...
-
(http://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab293/tel_meagain/SNV33156.jpg)
What rounds are those?
-
Those are 7.62x25, better known as the Tokarev. It's basically described as a necked-down .30 cal, and its ballistics are pretty incredible. Kind of like an older precursor to the .357 SIG.
Quote from Wikipedia...
The cartridge has an average muzzle velocity of around 442 metres per second (1,450 ft/s), and has about 544 joules (401 ft·lbf) of energy.
-
That's what it made me think of. Hard kicking?
-
I shoot it better than I did .40. It kicks less than that does
-
I call this one "Ready for Vacation"...

Here is the beginning of my "collection". My first CZ purchase was the 75 B, mailed ordered.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/harpdrinker/6814197182/ (http://www.flickr.com/photos/harpdrinker/6814197182/)
My second purchase was also mailed ordered. It was the Kadet 2.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/harpdrinker/6982782761/ (http://www.flickr.com/photos/harpdrinker/6982782761/)
It is rapidly becoming my range gun/configuration. Not only is the ammo cheaper, but it has the adjustable
sight. But it seems to be on target, and I haven't changed the settings.
-
Nice start to your collection. And I think I see why you had some trouble getting the Slide stop back in. The hole in the barrel for the slide release to fit through is very much different than previously, I think.
-
The new 97 BD has arrived. It is actually bigger than a Colt !
-
Well I did happen to mention it was one big honking pistol didn't I?  But it a thing of beauty to shoot. You will very much love that pistol.
-
I really have to admit that the 97 is a beautiful gun! There are no two ways about it. Too bad I couldn't talk my son in to buy it instead of the Kimber. But at the time the Kimber was available and CZ 97 was not. If he had bought it, I could of shot it once in a while.
-
Allways welcome to try out mine if you are ever in Orlando. Just let me know ahead of time. Or any of the others you would like to see/try out, that I have.
-
I WILL own a 97 some day. Not any day soon, as the AR is the last one before I end up sleeping on the couch. Next year, perhaps. Also, it was great talking to you last week Rodolpho!
-
Sleeping on the couch is worth it.....sometimes..... :cheesy:
-
I'm inclined to agree, especially where firearms are involved. I get them to make sure we're safe when the time comes. I can't help it if I LOVE it and it's a little spendy...
Seriously though, my AR is as "entry-level" as possible, so I got something that will do the job without going overboard. Also, I DIDN'T spend $150 on optics. She has no idea the sacrifices I make for her... hahah!
-
Prodigal (http://www.czforum.com/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=1481) : Sorry I wasn't sure if your question was rhetorical and real, so I just saw it today again, I thought I should say something, And to answer your question, It's really nice, and those pics are real good. I'm guessing you are a Photographer by Trade or Hobby or Art?
And I think I have already said Welcome to you, but in case I haven't, then Please feel Welcome to our Forum. It's great when someone new joins, but it's really good when someone is from an entirely different part of the world. Ask any questons regarding the forum or if you have an answer to some one else's question, please do post it.

That's so sweet! Who tapped the frame? Thanks for submitting!
-
I'm still not sure who did the work. I've Spoken with Stuart and he informed there is no record of Cz custom doing the work. But the paperwork I have with the optic has Cz-USA marking and the warranty on sight is thru Cz-USA so I'm still trying to find out more on this pistol. All that said this is a tack driver and I've gone from outside top ten at my local comps to top 2 tha last few events.
-
Very nice! I will probably never be that good, but if I was, it would be with my 75 haha!
-
Might as well add a few. First post and all...

-
Nice! Where did you get those holsters? Are they custom? I could use a couple...
-
Welcome to our forum! Those are very nice holsters!! Feel free to ask and or answer any questions may have, we are a very friendly group here....
-
Thanks, for the words.
The holster is a custom, nothing major, but specific cant, sweatguard height etc.
If you live in PA or a state away from Philly, definately shoot these guys a meesage. Super awesome to deal with
http://www.phlster.com/ (http://www.phlster.com/)
I drove 4 hrs from VA and it was completey worth it to have a holster made exactly how I wanted. Not like there are too many options out there.

We seem to be missing a couple pictures here? If anyone needs help posting pictures we have a how to up towards the top about posting pictures, or you can as someone to PM you with how to do it.
Welcome to our Forum mlongoria84, RC585, and LockNload! I don't believe I havehad the chance to say a personal hello to you all so I'm going to group them all together, to save time and because I am a lazy old Geezer, that types two fingers and can't spell.
So, Welcome to our forum all of you!. We are happy to have you with us, and the only stupid question is the one you don't ask. So if you have one regarding CZ's, D.W.'s. or Brno's or anything relating to them then please do ask. We try to help everyone we can and if we can't come up with an answer we will most likely be able to at least point you in the right direction to get the info you need. So safe shooting and again Welcome.

Not sure if posting these from Flickr on my iPad will work, but here goes! In case it DOES work, what you're looking at is my beautiful twins, Plato and Aristotle. Can't beat 9mm and 40SW for a philosophy!
-
They are gorgeous!!
-
Thank you sir! I love them both. I usually have the P07 in my alien gear holster, with this Spyderco in my pocket. It's a great EDC kit. And with the crazy people I deal with at work, well... Let's just say I'm glad I live in Utah with our concealed carry laws

My beauties. Got the -01 first for home defense then the PCR for carry. Love the classic non-tactical lines. Birchwood grips from I forget. Previous favorite, now jilted, P-229 Enhanced. CZs outshoot it.
