I wanted to create this to honor and remember all our veterans and the sacrifices they and their families made in order to keep this country free. This is especially important to me now because my son is going to boot camp in 3 days and starts his career protecting our freedoms. Again I want to thank all our veterans for all they have done!! Today of all days I wish to thank everyone that steps into harm's way, to protect us our families and their families. Voluntarily going onto the valley of death, so that everything we believe in will stay protected a while longer, and knowing/hoping there will be a better future for their loved one, And our Country. Keep in mind that there are folks around the world that want the things we could have so much they move to this country and join the military, to help defend the freedoms they never had. Please remember that approximately 3PM EST to take a moment of silence to honor all those that gave everything. And on that note I wish to say THANK YOU ALL for your dedication, and Sacrifices over these many long years I am Proud to be an American, and even remotely associated with those selfless people, is an Honor no one should take lightly. Please add also to your remembrances the Police, Fire Fighters and Emergency personal that have given their all in the line of DUTY to their Country On a personal note I would like to say on this day of days to everyone that fought from 58 to 73: WELCOME HOME Brothers and Sisters and for those that didn't come home I believe that they did their duty, and are now in Valhalla, or Heaven, or Paradise, because whatever they were before they more than made up or it/that by their heroism, And Please take an extra minute to remember we have POW's and MIA's from the beginning of this Country to now. And this day is the day we Have to remember them all in some way. Put a little flag in your window, or flag pole if you have one, make one with crayons if you need to, or a big Gold Star, so that the missing will know somehow, some way, someone is missing them. Put them out. I fully believe that They will see we care/carried and they did not go missing, captured or died in vain.

This years message is posted and I wish to personally take this time to Thank each and every person that goes into harm's way day in day out, be they our Military personnel, or Police, or Fire, be they First Responders, EMT's, Search and Rescue, and Emergency Response personnel of every kind and type. You are our Pride, and our Hope. And for what you have done and continue to do, and most importantly all the ones that are no longer with us because they sacrificed so that the rest of us may and can live free and hopefully comforted knowing that people like them are in harm's way even now as you read this. Thank you all, I hope my message of thanks for all the people that have gone before, is worthy of their sacrifice and the sacrifices of their loved ones.

Post ANYTHING that has nothing to do with CZ's, DW's, BRNO's, VZ's or firearms in general or having Something to do with firearms will be removed, and depending on what it is, you will either be warned or outright banned. If you haven't read this or posted that you need help here and post inappropriate pictures (which will be up to Me and the Mods to decide if they are appropriate or not) they will be deleted, and the poster warned. Once. And if you think this is harsh, try deleting spam all day everyday and you will be posting like this yourself.

One of our new members has a set of Marschell grips for a RAMI he wants to give away. I told him I would set this topic up and he could explain what it was about and why. How he handles it is entirely up t him. It would be in my opinion un-ethical for me to not only participate but tell him how to do it other than as names in a hat/whatever and pulls the name. Whatever city, county, or state you live in has their own weapons laws and it would be interesting to our members to have a place to look them up. If you want to help please post the URL to the Official Legal Link that deals with the weapons laws. DO NOT any personal opinions or comments about those laws when doing so. Those will be deleted the second myself of AngryViking sees them. Unless you categorically state that you are a Lawyer, BATF, Federal Agent, LEO of any kind, and take Personal responsibility for your comments.

We are all family here, or I have tried to make it so, and I want to make this a permanent board for the whole CZForum.com family to use as needed. No donations will ever be asked for, only your thoughts and best wishes. If someone in your immediate family is hurt, you are welcome to post the information here so that we all can be there for you at least in our thoughts.

This idea was suggested as a place for folks to come to for those questions regarding weapons that get posted on boards not necessarily read by everyone, but may still know how to fix. It may be redundant to have your question posted in your particular weapons board and on this one, but the more chances you have to get your question answered can't hurt. It's also a place to ask questions about Models I haven't listed for whatever reason.

This is here because there actually some very good instructional how to's of disassembling and or repairs to a number of CZ's here. There are also a lot of not so well done one's and some just plain stupid one's, I trust you folks to be able to figure out the difference, and if there is ANY confusion on your part about any part of the how to then for Pete's sake ASK, We are here to help, this Topic IS NOT meant as a replacement to asking folks for help, nor as a replacement for going to a gunsmith. As far as that goes, you are here by warned, advised and every other way you can be told, that it's entirely your responsibility to check and double check anything you see Before you attempt anything you see on YouTube or anywhere else. Unless you are a qualified Gun Smith and simply need a reference point. In which case I expect you to know your job and not take anything for granted. This Forum nor any of its members, not anyone attached to it, or having dealings with it or its members is not in any size, shape or form liable if you follow the video's and they turn out to be wrong. This forum and it's Moderators and or ANY qualified Gunsmith, can and will be checking these on a regular basis and anything we decide is stupid, a mistake, dangerous in any way for the non-professional to attempt, can and will delete the link to that video without notice. You can find legitimate reviews good or bad, if any exist for any CZ, under the News and Links Board. As always, when I do something new on this forum I do it because I want our members to have the best information they can get anywhere right here in one easy to start from site. I think this forum already has out done most of the weapons forum's simply by doing the best we can to be a Central Clearing house for information about CZ's, Dan Wesson's, Brno's and on occasion other weapons. Certainly the Holster, Grips, Accessories Boards have links that will benefit any weapon owner no matter the Make or Model. Add to that the 2nd Amendment, Calendar of Events, Competitive Shooting Organizations and links to Local, State, and Federal Weapons laws Boards (as much as we know about or of them) are also applicable to everyone that has a firearm.

Hey folks! We now have another new board, and it's for none other than the CZCustom Shop! All forum rules apply, don't be rude or snarky or use it for anything other than looking for ideas or help customizing your CZ's, GM and the rest there are busy as heck every min of everyday, and he and they are being more than generous to be offering to do this.

I thought this would not only long be a great idea but be a lot of help to our members and anyone else that stops in. So here's the deal: I used one of my CZ 75 Pre-B with the original factor grips as the base for the side by side comparison of the CZ's I have presently. So what you will see will be between 4 and 7 shots of the two weapons (the CZ 75 Pre-B and whatever other model) side by side in different positions, I think I got all the shots people would like to see but maybe not. I may consider doing it again and adding those shots if they are important enough. But unless they are really important and should have had a picture taken I'm not going to repeat this again, except as I get new models, and I will add them as I go. It's taken the better part of a week to do this, Looks easy but it ain't. I hope it helps and was worth the time, effort and Pain. I also plan on trying to get a lineup of pistols with different grips on them so folks can get an idea just what a certain style of grip will look like. I am not going to swap all the grips I have per pistol. What you will get is simply a line of pistols, different models Grip facing the camera so the different widths can be seen. I MAY even try taking a set with a tailors tape wrapped around each grip to show the actual width and diameter.

I decided to add this at the request of a member that asked “Could we have a section for CZ smgs (like CZ 25) and some of the older/rarer CZs that aren't found in the US like the .25 pocket pistol (CZ 92)?” Granted possibly the Board above this one “Commemoratives, Limited Editions and the Unique” could have possibly covered this topic also. But thinking about it, especially since he specifically mentioned SMGs, and since I didn’t put up a board for the VZ 61 Skorpion (Silly Me, Mea Culpa, Mia Culpa) or anything remotely Full Auto, this is now the place for them to hang out.

Well you asked for it and here it is! A place to post pictures of you CZ's along with your other family members, including the human ones. Especially if the human ones are at the range, Learning or practicing, post the targets only if you want, Names optional. Also 3 things: First: if the pictures are of a particular style CZ, if there isn't a topic already started then start a topic for it. Also if you wish to go ahead and post the pics of a particular Model CZ in/on the Board that is already established for that model. Second: If it's a group picture then try to add commentary to the picture about which is which. And those group pics will have a topic of their own. Third: There is no mandate that you must only post pics of CZ’s, that would not be fair to folks (most of us I think) that happen to have other Makes and Models of firearms, Especially the Group Family shots when all the kids are together for that all important Family photo. Just keep in mind that this is the CZFORUM, Not the other guys’ forums, so I will expect that a fair percentage of firearms shown in Group pics are CZ’s. The Moderator for this Board is a man that is a Legend in his own mind, a Man that needs no introduction, a Man that risks his life day in day out protecting us from 5th Graders 8 hours a day 9 months of the year. I was thinking about what we could do to make this Forum fun for families. Reason being is that at least 3 of our members have posted pics of their kids at the range or shooting, along with pictures of their significant others doing the same. Also there have been a couple questions asking for ideas on how to encourage family member(s) to come out to the range with them and try some shooting, which brings us to this board topic. I want it to be a place where our members with families young and old could brag on them and show off their interest in the shooting sports. (we already have an entire forum for us to brag on ourselves, I think it's time we brag on our families abilities) And if we can get trainers, instructors, Range Safety Officers and such to help with questions from the members or their families, then this would be an even more fun forum for everyone. We already have shown we can get along without being vulgar, political, or overly religious, or start flame wars when we disagree and we don't have any ads or banners or other things to distract from what we are interested in, and that’s Shooting. It's up to us to bring along the next generation(s) so that they can take our place(s) standing tall for their Country and the Right to Arm Bears, oh um I mean Bear Arms. I think this may be a way to do just that. I'm not really good at getting my meaning or intensions across, but I hope everyone more or less gets my point and where I'm coming from. It would help if someone wanted to be the Moderator for this board, and keep it rolling, possibly coming up with ideas on how to spark interest in the younger set by showing them sites where people their age or gender compete and have fun while doing it. As it is we have only myself, and 3 Global Moderators to run this Forum, and we really could use some help.

I was informed, I had slighted a group of you that have the CZ 40 in B or P series, so now this is a board dedicated to ya'll. It’s in this place more or less at the top because if you notice the way I have the whole thing set up it’s mostly on Numerical model sequence IE: 40, 52, and then in the order that CZ has them in. Also if you are wondering I have CZ 75 Pre-ban Models listed above everything else so it should in MHO have Pride of Place for starting the entire CZ following here in the States. Or at least it’s the first one I ever heard of back in the day. oh and btw you have Youngguns to thank for suggesting this board.

As I said I missed those models, and I have no doubt I have missed others. I really do want our members to have as much chance at getting their questions answered as possible. Frankly I don't know much at all about Dan Wesson's, so I'm not sure how to set it up for DW Fans. If there is anyone that is a DW Fan and or Rep and wants to Moderate this board, Please step up and say so. We will give you a shot at running the entire thing, and if it goes well you will become THE Moderator for the DW Board.

Here we go. We all know and love our CZs, and we also know that nothing beats a CZ for quality, value, and basic shootability. However, we also know that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. The CZ line is the world's second most copied handgun platform in the world (second to the 1911), so there are a few copies out there. Some are trash, some are absolute treasures. All of them have a place here. Questions, comments, concerns about CZ Clones now have a place at CZForum.com! Remember, this board is specifically for CZ CLONES. These include (but are not limited to) EAA/Tanfoglio, TZ, Norinco, Canik, Sarsilmaz, Armalite, et cetera. NOT just any pistol that looks like it may be a CZ Clone (i.e. Taurus, etc.)

I know things come up that don't tend to fit all nice and neat into any one topic, so let’s use this area for those "Have you tried this?" or "This is something I tried and it worked/didn't work" Sort of things. Please keep in mind that this entire forum is dedicated to CZ's but sometimes there is/are things just too good not to mention. Or talk about. This went off topic so it's getting moved here where more folks will see it and maybe help them out. Thank b5.5dan for bringing up the topic, I think it is really good and something I didn't know. I had my own way of doing things but b5.5dan reference to Jeff Cooper is not a bad way to go for everyone to learn I think.

I am going to do one of these for each of the pistols I own and post the results both under each pistols category/topic but also in the general firearms discussion section also. That way anyone that wants to know will have 2 chances to find the information they may need or want. I am not (I think) going to do the Ballistic tests for every weapon that has the basic same barrel length. I figure the ammunition will come out about the same speed everything from a barrel of equal length. I WILL post the second set of test for each weapon because the second test is going to consist of putting one round or each brand of ammo I have into a magazine. I will simply pick up rounds at random and insert them. The ammunition in question is going to be a mix of FMJ, FMJ truncated cone, hollow point, shot shell, wad cutter. Semi jacketed lead etc. I will load and fire the weapon in a reasonably rapid fire to see how each pistol handles a mix and match round. The point of the second test is because all the CZ 75 Pre-bans I own do not like hollow points, wad cutters etc. But the B models don't seem to have the same issue. So I'm going to try them all and see what's what. I am going to try to keep the ammunition as similar as possible: IE: 125 gr. 1200fps sort of thing. Not always going to work out that way but I will try to keep things as even and fair as I can or more to the point I can afford.

This is the place to ask for help for the new members wanting to buy a CZ but not sure which model.

This is simply one of those I am tired of looking all over for a Custom grip for a particular model CZ or a Custom Holster for a particular model again CZ. I have one idea which I am going to post once I finish adding this board. And I want any and all other ideas along the same lines.

Actually Ulysses just gave me another idea of a Board or topic, "CZ's R Us" dedicated to a list of any and all forums that are formatted towards CZ's of any kind from any country, and or have sections dedicated to CZ's. Let's face it, there is more to know about CZ's than we know between us and I think not listing any place that can help our members find an answer to their questions, if we can't answer them, is doing a dis-service to ourselves and our members. We (ALL the Forums) may not all agree with each other about some things, and occasionally there is out right dissension, but we ALL have one common goal and that's CZ's. And like any family we have our internal squabbles now and again. But I'm as of now not going to let that or anything else stand in the way of what we all want. And that's to learn more about CZ's and helping those that are just starting out on the CZ road find their way. I'm going to start with Ulysses group in Canada, and add Highroads and yes CZFirearms.US. Yes some of you already know I Bought and revived the very Orginal CZForum.com because they, (CZForumsite.info) banned me after I donated $3000.00 to help pay their forum bills. But I am not going to hold the personal judgment of a couple Senior Members and Admins against myself to interfere with our Members ability to get answers, when that Forum can possibly help someone we can't. And if there is/are any other forums that have sections regarding CZ's no matter what state or country then please let myself or an administrator know, so we can add them to the list. I believe a Forum called CalGuns has a section on CZ's and if for no other reason possibly add them simply because they are a California Based Forum, and having a link to them maybe beneficial to our members in California and or members thinking about visiting or moving there. So here goes an interesting social experiment and yet another way this, the orginal CZForum.com, lives up to its long and revered history of leading the way with new ideas, visions and a sincere belief that CZ is now and will allways be a leader in firearms worldwide.

This I think may be a good idea, Ulysses, gave me the idea when he posted his history and why he was here. For thank I thank him.

Well all in all considering the fact that this entire site is for dissemination of Information concerning not only the CZ Family but also the Sport Shooting Family and the 2nd Amendment, and those topics already have their own boards. I figured and have also had a few requests for something like this, that we need someplace, or Board to talk and dissuasion on topics that really don’t need their own board but still have relevance to what we are trying to do with this site. So this is it. TRY to keep everything within the parameters already established but go off topic if you need to. The General Rules for this Forum Apply in ALL circumstances so don’t make me have to go all Postal on you for being a putz. Grab your favorite Grindage/Munches and whatever tasty beverage you prefer, sit back relax and have fun.
