CZ 75 shoots low
« on: July 19, 2020, 12:21:16 PM »
My first time out with a pre b CZ75. Hitting about 10” low at 10 yards with 115 gr. Loads.
Are these pistols set up for heavier bullets or should I install a taller rear sight?
Thanks

"10” low at 10 yards" seems to excessive to start adjusting sights.

How was this confirmed? Did you use a rest? Did a trusted shooter gt the same result? Which sight picture did you use, Lollipop, bullseye?

Same question. Shooting my Shadow 2 using the "center hold" sight picture (image 2) and shooting low. Assumed I was flinching.

Now I am wondering if the Shadow 2 is factory sighted using the "combat" sight picture (image 3) because that picture gives better results.

My Ruger Mark IV manual tells me it is factory sighted for a "6 o'clock" sight picture, so I re-sighted it to "center hold".

For the Shadow 2, I can find no definitive statement anywhere in the manual or online along the lines of "the Shadow 2 is factory sighted for a ______ sight picture".  This is odd for such a popular handgun.

Question 1:
Has anyone here come across such a reference?

Question 2:
What sight picture are you using to shoot your Shadow 2 "out of the box"?

Thanks!
