Heavier bullets will raise the point of impact (I know, it sounds crazy, but just try it), do you have any 147s?  Israeli Uzis feed 160gn FMJs.

Yes y'all are right. After cleaning a while back, I did check measurement and saw the discrepancy. But who am I to correct the great CZ-US. I figured they used calipers or a more precise measuring method. With my old eyes I figured it was my mistake.

All though, if some one tells me they have 4.72 inches. I'm not taking out the ruler to measure.
(   )

Steve, this thread motivated me to try again with CZ, this time I had a great exchange with Zach at CZ USA and he assured me they will fix the discrepancies for the 2014 catalog.

I have never seen TZ 75 88series, is yours equipped with a POLYGONAL BARREL. I heard only Israel did that on their pistols.
If true accuracy should be SUPERB

I sold it. I didn't want to have to buy special ammo to get it to hit poa. and it didn't work with cz75b mags. which is too bad it was a cool looking gun

QUESTION:
How much validity does wolverine have. Remark more or less, if it does not shoot POA why bother.
My CZ75 (preB) is equipped with fixed sites it was tested twice. Both times showed good and excel. group patterns.
Both times I'm sure factory (commercial) loads were used. What grain bullet: 115gr, 124gr., 147gr. ???

Am I considered lucky is this the norm. pistol accuracy. My inexperience is showing.  OR  Adjustments such as sites and finding the right load the name of the game.

Steve, I have a friend who is also a CZ junkie;  guns which shoot dead on for me shoot high left for him, his shoot low right for me.  Intuitively if a gun is zeroed, it should be zeroed for any shooter, but empirically, that's just no so.  I'm convinced different eyes process the same image slightly differently.

The short answer is that it unreasonable to demand poa and poi match for every individual, without regard to bullet weight and speed right out of the box.  Besides that, if you buy a gun used, there's no telling what the last owner did.

Every gun i have shot was on for me except this one. Probably due to the 115gr bullets i was shooting. The gun is probably made for another grain or a hotter round. I dont stock anything other than 115gr so i just didn't want to deal with it. Plus i bought it for 350 and sold it for 425 so it didn't hurt my feelings

CZ75 Manual from 1984 Edition:  Technical data:
         length of barrel  -  120mm

If they fix mistake it only took them approx. 30 years !!

kneelingatlas, Mr. Moderator your info is right on the dime.

What weight bullets are you shooting? the difference between 115gn and 147gn projectiles will change the point of impact significantly at 25 feet.

Heavier bullets will raise the point of impact (I know, it sounds crazy, but just try it), do you have any 147s?  Israeli Uzis feed 160gn FMJs.
