I have a Tanfoglio Force 99R Polymer P chambered in 9 mm Luger. Can it be safely dry-fired without causing damage to the firing pin or to the frame or slide? I ask this because I know that the CZ 75 can be dry-fired safely without risk to damage to parts inside. Since the Force 99R is a CZ 75 clone, I wonder if dry-firing rules about it are the same or different. If anybody knows whether I can dry-fire my Force 99R safely without risking damaging it, please let me know. Thanks.

Generally all firearms are ok to be dry fired except rimfire firearms. This is because they don't have a firing pin and it can break the firing mechanism. If you're nervous about it, just buy some snap caps.
