Although this is a rather old link, I'd just like to register my vote for the P64 CZAK for pocket-carry. Every bit as "pocketable" as the S&W 642 which I used to carry.

Dang!  I had no idea that link went dead. I think (really bad idea when I do that, ask my friends and family) I actually saved a copy of it as a copy but finding it is the trick. I will send a note to my friend that told me about it and see if he has a copy or if he knows where we can find one. In the mean time, I'll look around myself.

Sorry for losing the link it was really great to look at it and learn some intresting things.

Old thread.  Just noticed that it's the old link and that link is dead.

Here's an updated chart by "Bobo."  It has many of the recent additions.  The only notable omission I could see is the Cobra Denali .380ACP pocket gun.  Because the chart has the other Cobra 380, I doubt that it was a deliberate omission.  Size is about the same from what I've read, but weight is, obviously, lower.

I love CZ, but as stated above, CZ doesn't really have a dog in this fight. Personally, I don't like plastic pocket guns. They are extremely snappy and certainly not the best for quick follow up shots. They mention the Sig P290, and I like Sig, but that's plastic too. I think the best gun in this category is the Sig P938. All metal, very concealable even with the "pinky" 7 round mag, and 7+1 capacity.

Fight?  What fight?  It's a comparison chart for interested parties intended as reference.

And CZ had classics in pocket gun size such as the Model 45 and the DUO

And, of course, the modern CZ92, which rumor had it they were toying with introducing to the U.S. in .32ACP

There are something like 12 or 14 guns listed in the .380 and .32 class on that chart which have the frame material as metal.

Not having a dog in the fight is simply a term that implies that CZ does not currently offer the subject matter. I'm sure you knew that. And yes, I was referring to modern production guns available now in the US. Since the thread is about comparisons,  I was pointing out an excellent firearm not specifically mentioned (and in my opinion, better than any on the chart). Thats all.

Nope.  Your intention really wasn't clear from the post.  I read it twice and still couldn't figure out what you were arguing about.  Seems that you really weren't intending to argue anyway.

Aw well, the vagaries of the written word.  It's why "legalese" exists.  :(

Good day to you Sir

Just wanted to say thank you very much for updating the thread and the Board/chart. I have the Duo, Mars, Singer, "Z", and the 50 and the 70's and they all are worthy pocket guns even the .25. If a shooter knows what he is doing and has the practice/skill level then even a .25 will do the job when push comes to shove. If that wasn't true then the wouldn't be so many folks dead from .22's. IMHO for whatever that's worth. I also have both the 82 and 83 and thought they are a tad on the big side they can and have fit in more than one pants pockets.

Always an honor to have you on Sir.
