New Member showing off my CZ 452 Trainer and CZ 455 American

Hello,
I'm a Sergeant First Class stationed at Fort Bliss, Texas and I wanted to show off my two rifles.  My 452 Trainer I just picked up a few weeks ago for $440.00 second hand.  Whoever had it, shot it only a few times.  I played with some scopes with high mount rings and never felt comfortable, so I went with a Leupold 2x7x33 with low Leupold rings.  Though any ammo shoots through it great, I think the rifle pefers 22LR CCI MiniMag.  I had much better groups out of the CCI at 100yards than anything else.

My 455 American I picked up about 6 months ago from the PX.  I had a 10% off cupon for any purchase over $100.00 and when I asked the counter clerks if they had anything special squirreled away in the back, they told me they got in a CZ rifle by mistake that came with three different barrels.  After seeing it was an American, I asked the price and got $569.00 with all the barrels.  Yeah, minus the 10%, I got her for $512.00.   I've never switched the barrels, I like the 17HMR a whole lot.   Played with some different scopes on this one as well, ended up mounting a Bausch & Lomb 2x10x40 that I picked up off ebay for $200.00.  This rifle shoots GREAT, yet seems to pefer the 17 Grain Hornady.

Here's some pictures of both at 100yards.  I know both rifles can shoot tighter groups, I just suck.  Need some more practice.

17 Grain Hornady 17HMR at 100yards.

Nice purchase! I love the CZ455! I love rimfire guns. Not only are they cheap to shoot, but they're accurate and fun as hell. Thanks for sharing these pics!

Good stuff. I have a Brno Model 4 that was hacked around by a previous owner (tidied up by me) which is fitted with a Leupold Euro 2-7x, a 452FS fitted with a Kahles 4x; and a Brno 611 fitted with a Weaver Classic 6x (reparallaxed to 75 yd). I also have a couple of Brno centre fires.

Be advised, Brno/CZ is an unbeatable addiction    .
A good shot at close range beats a 'hit' at a longer range.

New member here. Gotta love them 452s.  I bought 8 of them in 2010 when they were being discontinued.  Still have and love them all.
