CZ75 SP01 DA/SA Safety Problem
« on: April 01, 2020, 08:37:09 PM »
I have a new CZ75 SP01 which I got from Cajun Gun Works.... I have maybe 200 rounds through it, love its feel and accuracy.  I was at my range last weekend and was making love to this beautiful pistol when I decided to test the safety.  I shot about 7 rounds through it and while in SA, I put the safety on and tried to pull the trigger, just to test if the safety worked.  The gun fired with the safety on...damn accurate shot too but I was not expecting this to happen.  I did it 3 more times and all 3 times the gun fired.  As I said, it was a new gun with just 20+ magazines through it.  Any help as to what can be wrong?  The sear is NOT one with an adjustable sear, just the good old standard CZ sear.  Please help!!!

For a minute there I thought you were serious and then I noticed you posted on April 1st.

But just in case just give CGW a call and I'm sure they will sort you out.

When you say that you got it from CGW, do you mean that they had already Cajunized it to some extent?  Or is it just a stock SP-01 that you happened to buy from them?  Either way, I'm sure they would be happy to help you sort it out.

So what was the outcome of this scenario?  I was thinking about this same gun - thanks!
