Title: Understaning the process
Post by: J Mercurio on March 09, 2019, 10:46:38 PM
There are many moves in action pistol that are not physical but rather knowledge based.  Examples are when to draw, move the shoot versus draw, shooting then moving.  Another is to initiate and compete the reload on the move, versus dropping the mag, running to position then inserting the new mag.  Lets start a list of time saving moves..

A draw my list from Table of Contents of many of the USPSA Shooting books. In Ben Stoeger's 'Practical Pistol Reloaded', the table identifies all areas that are open for optimization

All of these areas have (according to the Match winners) precise maneuvers of optimization. I agree a list is a good starting point.
