Improving trigger pull without disassembly

One problem I have with my PCR is creepy single action trigger pull. Overall weight is not bad, under 5 pounds. I tried dry firing with snap cap to reduce creep, as well as, just firing and no luck or very little.

Then I tried dry firing, again with snap cap, while putting some press on hammer. Firm, but not excessive pressure on hammer. I did this about 225 times and seemed to be less creep. Not dramatic but noticeable difference. So I plan to do "snap with hammer pressure" maybe 100 times each time I clean PCR. I think maybe the extra friction this provides at contact points speeds up the smoothing out process.

As always be sure gun is unloaded. Anyone else try this approach?
