Whats your EVO's Year Stamp?
« on: January 30, 2015, 02:42:13 PM »
Both of my Scorpion Evo 3 S1's have bolts dated '12.  I thought this was odd so I looked over all of the paperwork and the packaging.  Both test targets are dated 2014.  However, BOTH boxes had a new label sticker over the original label which said Scorpion Evo 3 A1.  It seems these both started life as select fire variants but were reconfigured after sitting in the factory for two years.  Here's the video where I show the labels:

So I'm not the only one.  Weird.  Wonder why this happened?

Yep it is one of the things that is making us go Hmmmm.    I can understand why the same style box is being used for both a LEO/Mil version & the Civilian version but why "re-use" an already labeled full auto box unless the full auto was castrated with a civilian lower & trigger group but then why not just use a fresh box?  lol

Same here. Bolt marked 12. I can't speak to the box- mine was so destroyed from every single person finger-banging the pistol as it sat in the shop, I couldn't take it home.
