.40 Tactical Sport barrel issues?

After drooling over the gun for many years I recently bought myself a CZ 75 TS to replace my trusty and well-worn Para Ordnance in .40 S&W.

The gun now has about 1500 rounds through it and already a few medals under its belt as well.  I am enjoy the gun tremendously and I am sure we will have a long and distinguished IPSC future.

I have however now heard from a couple of local shooters in South Africa that the barrels on the .40 TS guns do not last long at all and I was advised to by additional barrels as soon as possible to prevent me sitting without a gun when the current barrel will break.

I was wondering what the experience of the greater TS owner community is in this regard.  Any feedback would be appreciated.

Moeen, Will you please give me the specific's about the grips in your photos. I have a 40 TS that I want to put aluminum grips on but I do not want the smooth/grip tape style grip. A part number would be very much appreciated. Thank You !
