First Trip To The Range With My New 10-PC
« on: October 12, 2017, 05:27:08 PM »
Made my first trip to the range today with my new 10-PC and was very pleased with the results. Trigger felt a little bit heavier than I thought I would but the rest is amazing making follow up shots quick and easy. Literature claims the trigger pull is 4-5 pounds out of the box. When I finished shooting I tested the trigger pull and it averaged 5.15 pounds. Was hoping for closer to 4.5 pounds. Will check it again after 500 rounds to see if its get any lighter. Overall though I am very happy with my new 10-PC and would recommend it.

Hello. It might lighten up after a bit of useage.

I'm usually the first one to get a new CZ model.
However, In the case of the P10-C:

My wife has had her hours cut even further, and I have not had the money to do so this year.

Maybe by Christmas, but probably more like spring of 2018.

We might even see the rumored 12-round capacity P10-S by June.

Enjoy your P10s and do think of Black Arch for your kydex holster needs.

Trigger will smooth out after a few hundred rounds.

That's good to know, as they already have very nice triggers.

I'd like a P10-C to promotte for the forum and on my Blog.

Maybe in early in 2018 I'll have the funds.

Right now, I'm concentrating on buying clothes for my grand-kids and
looking forward to seeing the new catalogs from CZ-USA.

A P10-C would be a bit heavy for carry most of the time.

My bad back would object but I could carry it with 15 rounds aboard in my shoulder holster with ease.

I'm usually not the first person to say to wait a year on any new gun/model, but have waited long enough and do my research on the P-10-C since they were first announced around Thanksgiving in 2016.

As I've only been able to handle one (FDE) last spring, the excellent trigger (dry fire) has haunted me since then.

The owner has a stippling job done on his as he thought the grip too sharp for his hands.

I'd probably put a TALON GRIP on mine and go from there.

So, the time has passed for people to report both the good and bad, and the good has
shown up the most.

Only the lack of $$ right now keeps me from bringing one home.

That's probably the case with most of us right now, and my local Dealer says that
$449 is as good as it gets.

I've seen them for more than that on GunBroker.

Anyone with the new 2018 catalog?

I don't have new CZ-USA 2018 catalog yet, so I'm hoping that someone out there might have one, and tell me if there are any new models of the P-10, other than the P10-C?
Reportedly, the P-10 S will be a 12-shot sub-compact.

Don't think the 2018 catalog is available yet.

I'm told that the only new P10-C for the 2018 catalog is the Suppressor type.Grey Framed Suppressor Ready model.

New for 2018..I really have no use for the threaded barrel, but it would be an interesting gun
 to test.

Maybe in late April or May. The P10-C will have been in the hands of customers for a full year by then.

Yesterdays trip to the range with my P-10 with the following upgrades: HB Industries flat trigger with 3 pound striker spring, Cajun Gun Works tool steel striker and Gray Guns Black Stainless Steel Guide Rod with 15lb Spring. Target was at 7 yards shooting Aguila 124 grain ammo. Trigger pull now an even 4 pounds. Could not be happier with my P-10.

I could mimic "Doubletap" for p10c mods. However mine developed a lock back issue. It would lock back 3 or 4 times while firing a 15 round mag. Talked to customer service a couple of times and we could not resolve the issue over the phone. Finally sent it back to CZ. Waiting to hear from them. It will be interesting to know what the problem was.
