New Cz 1012 bolt problem
« on: September 29, 2021, 06:25:38 PM »
Good evening this is my first post.I recently got back into skeet shooting and decided to buy a 12 gauge autos after having good luck with my czg2 bobwhite I took a chance on a 1012 from my local gun store.I have shot 100 rounds of factory rio trap loads and my problem is the bolt not going all the way forward to lock in so the trigger can be pulled.I am using the bolt release button to close the bolt.If it doesn’t go off and I nudge the bolt forward 1/4 inch it will then fire. This has happened about 8 times in 100 rounds of shooting.I did pull the barrel off and the bolt seems ok and I cleaned and lubed it.Will this eventually break in?Thanks in advance for any help

I had a similar issue with my 712, but it would do that occasionally on my second shot in 5 stand. You can try checking the bolt carrier spring and make sure its not getting hung up. I have never had an issue when shooting multigun. BTW I added an 8+1 extended mag tube for competition.
