Title: CZ 457 trigger adjustment
Post by: Rootbeer on August 12, 2022, 04:06:43 PM
Hello folks, another newbie here. 👋
I just got a new 457 varmint 22 mag.  The trigger broke at 4.5 #.  Following the instructions I set about trying to adjust it down some.  The adjustment screw has no effect at all.  Even completely removed it still breaks at 4.5 #.
I ordered a reduced pull spring for it, installed it and now it’s 2.5# which I’m happy with but the adjustment screw still has zero effect on the pull wt. of the trigger.
I haven’t shot it yet but still thinking there has to be something wrong/not functioning here.
Any suggestions?

Which screw did you adjust?
According to CZ the 457 has a range of 1.75 - 3.37#. You might want to check with CZ to find out why it was out of range out-of-the-box,
