Cleaning Lead out of Barrels / Inexpensively / Non Toxic

All shooters who use lead bullets for reloading.

100% Vinegar will strip the Bluing off metal. However, 50% Vinegar / 50% Hydrogen Peroxide dissolution is what old time re-loaders use. For cleaning Lead out of barrels. Lead just dissolves off and 90% of all residue after swabbing out barrel. (watch the lead just dissolve off barrel while soaking in jar).

After Lead Cleaning follow your usual cleaning method, with 50% less work and no wire brush.

Wow. Thanks a lot. I'll give it a go. It will sure beat some of the scarily toxic stuff I've purchased in the past to remove lead from barrels.

Walmart: Hydrogen Peroxide 32 oz. @ 88cents / White Vinegar 1 gal. $3 to $4 (approx.??). Old timers sure new what they were doing.

I also switched over too:  M-Pro 7  for gun cleaner.  ** ODORLESS, NON TOXIC **
                                         CORROSIONX for lubricant

It's now a joy to clean up after a day at range.

Keep in touch with any new products !!!!

Just shoot a few rounds of jacketed ammo after shooting lead.  The lead is gone after that.
