Thanks for the reply. Then I see no reason to switch them out as I would rather have the safety the blocks a function of the trigger than something that merely drops the hammer half way. My wife has a Beretta 92FS and if the switch would net a full decock and place the gun in safe, I might go through with the switch. My P07 is a regular barreled gun, regular sights (which I find to be crap and will be upgraded to HiViz soon), and factory installed safety, not decock.

I recently got a Rami P w/safety, but it had the dreaded bulge, so I sent it to CZ and got back a Rami BD w/decocker. personally, I prefer the safety, I don't like decockers, its just not as safe as manual safety. But, beggars can't be choosers.......I still ended up getting a brand new gun out of the deal.

The manual safety on the RAMI is one I never use as it's quite slim.

Too slim for me to swipe off 100% under stress, but your mileage may vary.

I'd even buy a Double Action Only, RAMI.

The DAO 75 didn't sell well some 15 years ago, but I think the market has changed enough that
CZUB should bring it back.

They are probably too busy making P-07s and P-09s.

The easiest solution would be to get the BD, which has a decocker. No safety to worry about and you can either cock it as you draw, or just draw and fire in DA, every shot afterwards is SA......
