Title: Looking for CZ with strange looking stock
Post by: 5.0zone on April 09, 2012, 06:24:52 PM
I'm looking for a 22lr that CZ made at one time. I have only seen one of these and didn't buy it at the time. It is not listed on the CZ web site and I haven't been able to find it using google.

The stock came up very high in, like a cheek rest and was straight on top.
I wish I could find a picture of it to post.

I'm hoping someon on here will know what I'm talking about.

And yes it was a factory CZ stock.

Cheers,
Jeff

The stock look similar to the "CZ 455 Varmint Precision Trainer "
BUT the stock was wood.

Have you called either CZ-USA or CZCustom? I'm not sure about USA but Angus has some weird things hanging out in his vaults. I wouldn't be surprised if he had a Dan Wesson w/7 Barrels wheelgun hold up in there somewhere. :cheesy:

Those guys Angus hires make Harry Potter and his pals look like Muggles. If there were any Mystics in the Firearms business.

It sounds like you are describing a Klinsky stock sold by Denny(AKA brnoman), and they have a pistol grip with finger grooves and are light in color, as well as being made from birch. I have seen them on RFC quite often, I don't have his email address, but you could look it up over there. Hope this helps! Doug
