Title: Accuracy
Post by: JB22 on June 02, 2020, 12:18:46 PM
I am interested in either a CZ 457 Lux  w/ 24.8" barrel or a CZ 457 Jaguar w/  28.625" barrel length.
My question is which would be more accurate using iron sights with a max range of 100yds on paper or steel targets. I understand that I would have to determine which bullet each likes the best, unless you can recommend  a "better" one for each rifle in .22cal

Many thanks for your advice.

John

I have a CZ457 LUX. Find the right ammo and you will love the gun. Recommend a standard velocity.Try several until you find what the gun likes.

I'm seeing only slight differences between the two, aside from barrel length.

The two are (1) the Jaguars threaded barrel, and (2) differences in the stock (Lux - Walnut v. Jaguar - Beechwood.

So seems like a coin-toss. While I love my Lux, my interest is peaked by the extra 3.5 inches of the barrel. But I have a preference for Walnut.

Sorry to go back and forth on you. Perhaps the extra sight radius of the jaguar would provide improved accuracy for the range.
