Magazine pouch discussion amongst the team
« on: May 18, 2015, 07:51:17 PM »
I thought I'd post some points from a recent discussion  about magazine pouches.

I wanted to point out BlackHawk 410600CBK Black Carbon Fiber Lightweight CQC Double Stack Mag Pouch. They are about 18-19 bucks.

Pros -

They are spring loaded so any D-S Mag is locked in place.
The carbon fiber style has a nice look and the vinyl carbon fiber texture gives it a better quality feel then everyday plastic.
         They are inexpensive.

Cons -

The belt loop is long. So you can tilt it a little. but they shift easily. I am constantly re-arranging them throughout the day.I am looking at replacing my 5 Blackhawk Double stacks with new ones where I can have the mags pointed outward away from the body. But the cost is holding me now. For now, I think these will last far longer than the past year. No loss of function after a year use and they still look new.

The image is from the Blackhawk site. However, I'm finding these on ebay for $18.
