A cleaner way to apply that Case Lube
« on: January 23, 2013, 06:02:03 PM »
I was thinking about a cleaner way to apply Case Lube evenly to my Lube Pad
So I went to the Dollar Store and bought a Bottle of Roll-on Deodorant
Popped the Ball Assembly out and dumped the liquid
Washed it out with soap and water, then rinsed the parts with Alcohol and set them out to air dry
Turns out that a full (2oz) bottle of RCBS Case Lube 2 fits quite well
Snapped it all back together and sure enough, the Roll-on Ball applies the Lube pretty evenly across the Lube Pad
Well worth a buck to try it out
So tell me again how Trump was worse then the 8 years before, and the years after him !

I used to roll my rifle cases and then brush the inside of the neck too (important to keep the expander from dragging to much on larger cases). But, now I jsut spray everything. I stand the cases and hold the can so that the spray goes across the top and a little gets inside the neck. Works well and is fast.

Thank you both for posting these ideas. I am going to see how both work out for me. Not right now but I hope I also don't forget neither of these ideas between now and when I can actually get them.
