I use 125 grain bullets currently, and have tried the 135 gr. For those who use 115 and or 147, what are your thoughts. pros and cons?

I'm using the Blue Bullets 147GR (actually 150) and I have no complaints. I use 2.9GR of titegroup, 129PF and it shoots soft and flat....

I use 124gr fmj bullets with 4.2gr of Win 231. They come out of my SP-01 @ 1020 fps, nice for practice but low on the power factor.

I bought some Blue Bullets 147 grain to try.. I've heard others say they were 150 grain, but I weighed a handful and not one weighed more than 148.9, so I'm not sure why they say this,, Anyway, so far the load I tired, 3.4 gr of N320 at 1.123 OAL seem to be very accurate. My current 125 gr load chrono's at 138 PF, the new load is definitely softer, my guess is its around 132 PF.. I'm going to shoot a match this Sunday and will give an update after.

What do you want to do?
Action Pistol and major PF? 147+ gn bullet, plated or jacketed
Bullseye (accuracy is everything)? 115-121gn JHP
Cheap plinking? 115gn lead bullet of 0.357" diameter
Self-defense? I stick with 121-125gn JHPs
