Help on average weight for 9 different rounds
« on: June 05, 2012, 01:13:25 PM »
OK Folks I am about to embark on a ammo test and how the same MFG works in all my models, I'm starting with Fiocchi since it's over pressure and CZ's are made for that, and it's on avg with the other makers price wise. But I need help with what grain projectile to use for each of them, I am going to use Nothing but FMJ and pretty sure the 9mm at this point are going to be 124 GR but anyone have any ideas on these, I'll post all here now so you all can see. I neeed what would be an Avg weight not your favorite please. I will have to use these when ever I get around to doing the same with Hollow Points.

3,000    9mm

1,000   .40 S&W
600    7.62 x 25 Tokerav
600    9 x 18 Makarov
600    .308
300    .22
300    .45 S&W
300    2 3/4 12 Ga.

Well...9MM usually come 115,124 and 147 so I would say 124 for avg....Sorry I can't help with the others as I'm not familiar with the different weights...
