Thanks,
I put 200 rounds through today of Blazer Brass 124gr FMJ.
The contrast of powder residue on the gold barrel was very obvious.
All crevices, angles, throat area, ramp, etc. could be easily seen and cleaned.
As compared to powder residue on a black colored barrel that might be missed.Still had to use a small nylon brush in a few places. Not a big deal.I inspected the barrel and did not notice any signs of TiN wear.Too early to tell. The treatment has a warranty.
My son 14,helped with the cleaning which turned into a great teaching moment onwhere to expect residue build up that might not normally be seen.
And to understand how parts make contact that could cause premature wear if not cleaned and lubed properly. Worth the money just for that experience.
At the end of the day,the P10c has a good 600 rounds through it now..
Not one issue. The trigger feels better. The Mag ejector was stiff out of the box but has loosened up a bit.Getting used to a consistent good grip and target acquisition at the range as well.
Keep shootin'Dave
