Scorpion 922(r) stock length?
« on: September 25, 2018, 12:41:48 PM »
Debating rather to SBR my Scorpion of just do an arm brace.  SB tactical lists their brace at 10.2".  What is the actual length of a 922 stock full extended?  Search came up with nothing.

for those us you who have both an SB Tactical brace vs 922 stock video would be awesome!

TIA

Nevermind.  Stopped into a local shop today who had a 922r kit.  The stock, fully extended was about 11.5".  With an SB tactical being a little over 10", $200 is a lot of coin for barely an inch.  Is it worth it to SBR so I can put a vertical brace up front?  For me, no.  Holding out for the black SB tacticals to come around again.

That is the same decision I made. For me, a large part of the decision is that I travel to other states frequently and I didn't want to deal with the annual reporting requirements.

??Annual reporting requirements??
If your registered weapon leaves the state you have to inform the ATF in advance. The report is good for one year; so if you frequently drive across several states, you have to send a report to the ATF once a year.
