Need Stronger Spring for 9mm RAMI 14-rd Extended Magazine
« on: June 13, 2018, 01:38:54 PM »

Greetings, everyone

Any suggestions as to where to get a stronger spring for the RAMI 9mm 14-rd magazine?  I checked with Wolff Springs and they don't carry them (working on it, but not yet).  I need a stronger than factory spring for the extended mag to help with cartridge feed when using a suppressor; the added weight affects the barrel/chamber ramp movement during firing cycling and causes fail-to-feed (bullet head hits bottom of ramp). The smaller 10-rd mag feeds perfectly fine (probably a stronger spring action).

Thanks!

I read somewhere that someone used a 15rd glock 19 mag spring and it seemed to be stronger than the stock Rami.....

A suppressed RAMI?  Whodathunkit.

I'm sorta envisioning the pistol being the smaller part of the package    Did you find taller sights which work with the suppressor?

How about a picture?
