I've just joined this forum as two days ago I purchased a CZ Tactical Sport Orange in 9mm.
While new here, I'm not new to CZ having bought my first one in 1985 while stationed in England; a CZ-75 NIB made in 1981 with a high polish blue finish. I also shot rifles made by the forerunner of CZ, BRNO. I brought the CZ-75 home with me.
Since returning to the States, I've owned a number of CZ handguns and rifles once the Iron Curtain fell and they began importing BRNO and CZ firearms. I'm a big fan.

Welcome to the forum from SE Arizona. Would that '81 CZ be of the forged frame and slide variety? Just curious!

OldSarge, as far as I can tell, it is forged. I see nothing that suggests a cast frame or slide.
