Love my new CZ Scorpion Evo 3 S1 EXCEPT the 10.5 lb trigger pull. Anyone discover a mod to lighten up the trigger pull? My Tavor was 11 lbs before I bought a geissele trigger pack. Don't think they will be coming out with one any time soon if at all for the Scorpion, though.

break out your metal polishing kit and buff that trigger to a mirror shine. The trigger becomes much better!

Any suggestions on where specifically to polish for greatest effect?
Also, is there a howto out there on disassembling the trigger pack?

I'd like to know if there's a "how to" on this as well. Anyone???

I'm in on this one as well...

First buy the HB Industries Spring Kit. Next check out this video > HB Industries Video (https://youtu.be/9rTXN4TR8Nc)
Then you can use my photo essay to go step by step. > My Photo Essay (http://s1248.photobucket.com/user/henry_chavez2/slideshow/Scorpion%20EVO%20Trigger%20Group%20Removal)
I only stoned my sear and hammer enough to take the paint off. I did not include polishing these parts as it is not needed and I did not feel comfortable telling someone to mess with these critical parts. Just installing the springs will reduce your pull weight in half. Mine went from 11 pounds to 5. Good luck

Sorry, I forgot to tell you if your trigger group is welded you'll have to watch another video or two. Mine was a newer one and did not require dealing with a weld. Here they are:

Weld Removal 2 (https://youtu.be/dlpgImY8B3s)
Best,

I've heard about that and how you need to send the lower receiver back to CZ. How do know wick one you have?

You don't have to send it back to CZ, but you can. The videos will teach you how to tell if they are welded and take it off yourself. You look in the trigger group and at the front of the chassis, look down and if there is what appears to be a round nut, it is welded. If there is just a bolt tip, it is not. Let me know. I'm curious.

I just checked tonight and mine is, unfortunately, welded. I will be sending mine back to CZ.

I guess I was lucky. It seems there are more welded than not. Good luck.

Thanks! I just bought the HBI trigger and spring, so I'll install it once I get the lower back from CZ. Whenever that'll be...
