Question on polymer rail on CZ Scorpion
« on: August 20, 2018, 01:49:34 AM »
I have a CZ Scorpion and a Spitfire prism scope from Vortex anyway the recommended torque setting from Vortex  is 35-45 inch lbs. Is that too much torque for a polymer rail it seems like it would warp or cave in the sides of the rail where the scope mounts are. I have it at 30 inch lbs right now. I use a torque wrench for my scope installations.

I am unsure if that is too much, I would give cz custom a call and see if they can answer that for you.
My personal opinion I would say no issues.
