Title: Love Czech firearms...their beer, not so much
Post by: Old-Duckman on May 03, 2017, 04:36:29 PM
Bought a 12 pack of Praga Dark Lager, Authentic Czech beer, last week. Drinking my second one right now...fairly reminiscent of Vicks Formula 44 cough syrup that I took as a child. Good for coughs (wish they still made it), not so good as a beer.

The same day I did buy a German dark lager, Kostritzer. It is outstanding.

Well ya win some, ya lose some I suppose !

Might I suggest Pilsner Urquell. It is a fantastic Czech beer.

I second that!  If I remember correctly they were the first brewery to do pilsners.

There is a little known town North of Pilsen called Budweis.  You might like their beer.

I like an Imported beer from Shiner Texas, it shipped 60 miles to where I reside.
:azn:  Made from well water down stream from a horse ranch.
South Texas favorite..
