How to get around that 11mm dovetail...
« on: September 16, 2014, 06:17:13 AM »
For those of us who are price conscious or just flat broke, and don't want to buy expensive scope rings, I did the foot work for you.

Here are a couple of options on how you can mount a scope on your CZ455 without shelling out a lot of $$$.

Leapers low profile picatinny/weaver base that fits the 11mm dovetail.

Diversified Innovative Products (same thing just milled around the ejection port, and more expensive)

These are your best options, but there are others out there.  I found that because the front bell of my scope is so large, it's hard to mount it on a 22LR because for some reason people who shoot 22LR use teeny tiny scopes and they just don't make 11mm scope rings tall enough for an adjustable parallax scope, so an elevated base was my best option. Hope this helps.
