Aluminum Grips for RAMI
« on: July 04, 2016, 01:04:42 PM »
I've been looking for flat aluminum grips for my edc RAMI for some time.  I emailed CZ Custom about them and was told that they're looking to see what the demand is before moving forward with manufacturing.  If you're interested, please let them know.  Hopefully, we can get enough interest to get them produced.  Oh... here's a pic of mine;

Cajun Gun Works seemingly has far more gun customization/replacement hardware posted on their website, maybe they'd be more responsive.  As owner of both RAMI BD rubber and 97 BD thin aluminum gripped pistols, I'm delighted with the always-grippy stock RAMI grips, and wouldn't swap them for EDC purposes even if I could.  The 97's thin aluminum grips are hard anodized, so quite robust, yet will be susceptible to high spot damage over time, a cosmetic issue with the dark toned ones at least. I like the "gaudy" looks of these https://cajungunworks.com/product/40112-cz-97-silver-aluminum-grips/ which wouldn't show high spot wear as readily, but think I like the sleek glittery dark stock grips more.  Have you tried the RAMI rubber grips?  Have you seen these? https://cajungunworks.com/product/ram-j6-21/ or these? https://cajungunworks.com/product/ram-j6-24/

Nice looking wood, btw!

Thanks for your reply, PappaWheelie.  Dennis does great work on his grips... I have them on my PCR and full size BD.
I'm using the stock rubber on my RAMI now.  My issue is small hands.  I need a thin grip to properly reach the trigger, even after the pro package from CGW.  Thanks for the link to the G10 grips.
