Steel Challenge confusion clarified - Skipping targets

There was a small discussion during yesterdays Steel Challenge. Since we were all new in our squad, we weren't sure how to handle a shooter that hit the stop plate prematurely.

It would seem that after revieweing the 2013 rule book (and revieweung similar discussions on brianenos), that the missing targets are simply scored as a miss and incur a 3 second penalty.

In other words you could go straight for the stop plate and have  score of 12 seconds plus your draw time. Naybe not the best time but better than 30 seconds of trying to hit something
