We have just formed the newly dubbed CZforum.com shooting team. We consist of Ghostwarrior, Chfields and FRGood. We are all located in Orlando, FL and got together this Saturday and competed in our first Steel Challenge.  This is the first time Ghostwarrior has competed in over 20 years, while this is only my 2nd time ever shooting any competition. FRGood has been shooting different disciplines, such as Appleseed, Zombie and Action steel. While we didn't do as well as we would have liked, we had a great time and looking forward to doing it again.....

What a fun day. I was really tired by the end, plus it did get rather warm (hot) by lunchtime.

The video really highlights the need to practice the basic for me. Also to learn proper form. I really am looking forward to establishing a practice schedule and look forward to watching the improvement.

The Steel Challenge is quite the challenge.  :smiley: . I think the score sheet would make me feel better is scored by division. Plus, Since I was shooting a 1911 9mm perhaps I should have gone 'SS-' instead of Limited.

Thats awesome!!! I finished around the middle of the pack...not bad for my first Steel challenge. I'm stoked.......

You did excellent. You show improvement with each outing. I also noticed your smile grows with each match as well.

           I'm not even listed, Is there another page? I know I can't be very far from the bottom, but I would like to know where I placed. Considering that was the first time I ever shot that discipline.  New gun, gun belt and holster, not with standing. Not using them as excuses I know I did poorly, no excuse.

Scroll down there is a second page......Your problem was equip related, not shooting related.....if it wasn't for the hang ups, you would have scored much higher....
