cz 82 extra magazine

I recently purchased a cz-82 9x18 Makarov with an extra magazine, the extra magazine seems to go to a different gun.  It does not fit well in the 82 nor does it take the 9x18 ammo.
It does take 32 acp , 15 rounds.  What gun does it go to.

Welcome to our forum!! It sounds like a CZ 83 or CZ 70. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Congrats on the 82, that is a nice gun. Feel free to ask any questions you may have as everyone here is very friendly and willing to help.

Hi rudy,

Welcome to the Forum.
Civilian variant for CZ82 is CZ83. 83 is available in .32 ACP, .380 ACP, 9X18 Mak.

Possibly Magazine is for CZ83. One of the more experienced members probably will be able to advise further.

CZ50 modification to CZ70 (1970) were minor. Magazine capacity: 8

CZ83 (aka 7.65mm Browning) .32acp - 15 round magazine
