Ok, I had a seriously stupid thought....
I hate having to reload, I mean I HATE it! So... I have these old Black Dog Machine mags for my AR15 22lr conversion. They were the skinny GEN1 mags.... They hold 30 rounds....
Wonder if I can make a hybrid mag with one of the 5rnd mags and the 30rnd mag and come out with at least 20 rounds.....?
The bottom plate comes off the 455 mag and maybe I can cut off and notch the BDM mag so the 455 mag will fit inside where the bottom plate goes on. Then it's just a matter of getting the follower to work and ride right or make a custom one out of plastic, which isn't as hard as you think when you have the proper dremel bits. MUAHAHAHAHAHA!!! :laugh: :tongue: :laugh: :tongue: :laugh:
Why do I need a 20rnd mag for a 22lr bolt gun? Well, the answer should be fairly obvious. JUST BECAUSE!!
