I'm asking because I searched for a 97B for several months here in California. Finally found one BTW and I love it. New in California is limited by item # 01401.

I believe you are referring to the original polycoat version of the 97B without the front serrations.  Regardless, I would refer to the actual characteristics.  I believe I own the model to which you refer (not for sale), and even I don't know the SKU # without digging around for the outer cardboard box. 

You aren't going to get many responses with this approach.  I just did a Google search, and your post is the only result that came up with the SKU # reference.

Thanks to you both. The SKU number was a typo (now corrected). And, yes, i'm looking for a 97B with the original Polycoat finish and absence of serrations. I, likewise, did a Google search and several listings came up on various firearms auction sites. Unfortunately, all were either several years old or had sold.

How about a pic of the 97B without the sedations? In my search I never knew such a thing existed.....    Or maybe a SKU so i can look it up.

I recently discovered that a Google image search for a '98 production 97B turns up quite a few photos of my particular pistol.  Go figure...
