New safety conversion smarts

Smoke- and Jeepster asked questions that I answered with less than enough knowledge. For that I apologize.

We're talking about the left safety lever for the CZ P-07.  Smoke- mentioned a flat spring that got away too aften. That spring is not called out in the parts list or shown in the exploded diagram. Jeepster told of the lever being able to turn far too far. I went through the safety assembly again and again and mentioned a tee tiny coiled spring on the lever that has no function. Well, it has. Here is a wonderful set of pictures I found. At the end it shows a fine view of the flat piece mounted on the lever. And that piece is missing from my gun. (And maybe Jeepster's too.)

The display of interest begins about three quarters of the way through the thread. I've been through that display several times and never understood what I was looking at until today. It shows how it works, and that explains the cutouts in the frame.

Somehow I missed this flat piece entirely and will have to get another.

My apolgies to all that think I know anything.
