With limited division being dominated here in the states by 2011 style guns, what was your draw to the CZ platform for this division?
-
Reliability, feel, and accuracy of the TS .40. Also the fact that it wasn't the the everyday 2011 didn't hurt.

I am with you on all these points. Another one for me was to prove to some 2011 die hards that you CAN be competitive using something other than a 2011.

That is another story. as I am positive that is in the hands of the shooter and not the gun. I am sure that if I were to practice enough I could be a contender. heh heh.

It's not the gun, I see first hand guys running glocks woop up on the high dollar 2011's alot.
That being said, being I have a love affair with the shadows, I will go back to shooting limited with a ts.

I stick with production.
-
Me too!!

Production was fun but after starting the sport in production and accomplishing my goals, it was time to refresh the motivation and try another division.
-
I started in limited, then went to production. I just find more challenging
-
Sadly, my skill does not require any more challenges. lol.

Unfortunately, shooting 9MM minor in USPSA makes it very difficult to be competitive, so I use it as practice for IDPA...

I think Production may be more interesting consider you have to really think about mag changes and round counts. Mind you, the TS has a 17 rd cap. which is an oddball count. I have not taken the time to deal with magazine and base compatibility. It is too much of a hassle.

Production is a challenge, which is why I love it so much.

production division is 10 rounds regardless of mag capacity.

So, after awhile in production with my shadows I gave the ts a try in limited. All I'll say is holy shit,,, what a awsome shooter.

I now have a tacsport, shot my first uspsa match with it a week ago, needless to say I won limited division and high overall. I also have a brazos custom pro 2011 that runs 3k for just the gun and another 500 for 4 tuned mags.
Well, it's silly to think the ts can not compete against the high dollar 2011.

Yup, Just to clarify, I shoot Limited. Although, I have just run my first Production Division with a Glock and am considering bringing out my CZ 85 for Production.
