Title: Recoil spring

Does changing out the recoil spring on a 75 PCR compact indanger the aluminum frame in any way..   :rolleyes: . ????

Running too light of a recoil spring in any gun can result in damage. It really depends on the ammunition you are running.  If you are reloading your own and have developed a light load, running a lighter recoil spring will be fine. Keep in mind, reliability is also dependant on running a correct weighted recoil spring.

Light CAN cause issues. Stick with factory 16 and you will be fine.
