I am new to the CZ handgun game and have a CZ 75B that I purchased several weeks ago. What is the 'pre-B' distinction? As I will be looking for mags, I am curious if your offering will work with my pistol.

The B indicated that it has a firing pin block safety. The early pre B CZs did not. Both the CZ75 mags should work. I have both and both work with my 75B.

Thats is correct, the B stands for firing pin block, that was required for semi autos...I was given a pre B mag and it did end up working in my CZ75B SA...

           Pre-B mags WILL fit in any CZ (other than the 3 or 4 that are magazine specific). but 99.9% of CZ75B magazines will NOT (possibly you might find a B that will in fact fit) fit in a CZ 75 Pre-B UNLESS that Pre-B has had some work done on the magwell. Which I would recommend if you want to have it done, is done by a good gunsmith.
