Scorpian Evo 3 S1 Carbine
« on: March 12, 2016, 07:35:39 PM »
I've seen adds and YouTube videos on these but none on auction sites or in stores so I take it they are not available yet. Does anyone know when they will become available?

They are available. have been for the last year.

I ran across one about 3 months ago at a LGS.
Stopped there last week, and saw it again, and brought it home.

They are hard to find because they've gained a rabid following, especially from the SBR enthusiasts.

The few that come up at reasonable pricing don't last long.

Its a supply and demand thing. Keep looking....

They are coming.  New molds had to be made to incorporate changes that make the guns importable to more countries.  There were delays with the new molds, but they are moving forward with production anyway.  The first few batches will have welded trigger case screws that will make trigger work more of a headache.  Once the mold are done, they will swap the trigger housings at their expense.

I spoke to CZ and they'll have a 2015 model and an upgraded 2016 model that should be out in Jun/Jul. I ordered the 2016 model figuring it's worth the wait and will not need the trigger upgrade. I also ordered 10/20 and 30 round magazines with the carbine. Now I'm stocking up on 9mm ammo while waiting.

WOW, I thought MSRP was $999 for the standard version and $1099 with the faux silencer. Must have had a price increase.
