It was always broke, I didn't know it was. My hand was bent back until it snapped. Doc says my bones are healthy, it was just too much force.

Kind of like when an arm wrestler snaps a bone.

Doing my therapeutic hand exercises and things are improving. Stitches come out Tuesday. It is one week to the day since surgery.

Thats going to may a really nifty scar.    You could always tell the folks that ask about it, that it's a wound you got in a knife fight from a mugger before you could shoot him

You have been gone a while.
I am doing better, but not as fast as I would like. I have no patience.

Wow what a break! Glad to hear you're doing better though. Hopefully it doesn't throw off your shooting balance too much :) Best wishes for a fast return from out here in California!

Hand is doing better all the time. Random sensations shoot up it on occasion.

Didn't shoot yet. Kind of chickened out. Bought ammo instead.

Hate to say it but most likely the better idea. Those random pains are freaky aren't they?

Got back from the Doctor. He said hand is healing great, flexibility is great. There is a slight "rolling under" of the pinky finger when I make a fist.

No lie, these are his recommendations:
1) Start your exercise program again, do 25% this week, 50% the next, 75% the next, then 100%.
2) You can start riding your bicycle today.
3) You should go to the range twice a week for this week, then the following go three times and use your off hand.

Now, if that isn't a reason to move to Utah, I don't know what is.

Now the sad part, I am heading to California for the rest of the week. I don't think they would want a CZ 85B with 16 round mags to show up down there.
Good part, I can ride the Indiana Jones ride all I want!
