New shadow 2 owner. Questions

I wanted a cz shadow 2 and decided on a black one.


I didn’t like the baby blue grips and I saw a grey mag well after a few thousand rounds


Grabbed it for under $1,000!!


Could have gotten a grey one for -$20 less


My question.  Is my black gun from 2017?  Which color combo came first? Black , blue grips or grey?
I don’t see many all black ones for sale


I see posts on finish chopping off.  Is this uncommon or the norm?

I've got 2 shadow 2, both black and the only wear on the finish is from the excessive amounts of drawing. Nothing to worry about, go shoot it and enjoy.

The black S2's with the blue grips and stainless mags are more rare because not as many were imported into the US, as a result they are more desirable.  I believe they were $100 more due to the magazines and the finish.  The black on black S2's were aplenty.  I don't care for any other color than black.  I've never seen finish chipping, but if it did it would be the model that came with the blue grips.
