Old swab jockey checkin' in
« on: August 30, 2012, 12:14:35 AM »
Spent 21 plus years in Uncle Sam's canoe club and served on too many different vessels to list as well as a couple shore stations. The biggest were the two bird farms and the smallest I think was the Large Slow Target. Was plank owner on one pre com FFG which I enjoyed the hell out of. I saw a lot of changes from 67 to 88 and was ready to stay but life happens when you're married. Wouldn't trade a minute of it for all the tea in China. Not too sure if I would like today's Navy though. Retired out of Great Mistakes, Ill as an EMC selected for EMCS. Almost regret not hangin for the three years it would have cost to add the star, but as I said Life happens.
To all of you that have served or are serving, I salute and thank you brothers.
If you ain't havin' fun, you ain't doin' it right!

Then or now, Welcome Home Brother!
