Title: Spam Emails??

Over the last several days I've received over 100 emails from the forum announcing "new member". Anyone know what's going on?? Luckily they all go into my Spam folder, but it's really annoying!!

Sorry we got hit with a spam attack for the second time. I think I I took you off the notify list. Along with all the other Mods. I hope I got it. I have also set things up that any new member has to be approved, but apparently somehow some spammers are getting through anyway, but not nearly like before.

There must be something in turkey meat.  The spammers have been going at it hot and heavy lately.

Yeah, I'm still getting the emails, just not as many. I think only 8 today, but yeah, I got the 100 over the last 2 days as well.

Yeah, it because its now set to have all members approved to help cut down the spam. It is a little annoying, but better than the spam....IMHO...

I thought I set things so you guys didn't get Any notice or at least not new members anyway. I'll go back in and see what I missed.
 
OK Can't fund where to change the notificaatins for Mods. some how I found it for OleTex but I have no idea where that was. and I can't find it again, Everyone go into your own profiles and see if there is a box(s) regarding otifications, and if so uncheck new member notification. Sorry I can't do it.
