The CZ 75 PCR or CZ75 D Compact

This is probably a stupid question.  When I retired I looked for something smaller than a Colt Series 70 for CCW.  I took the advice of a fellow firearm instructor and tried out the CZ P-01.  Love at first shot.  Since then, 82's, (a bunch, 03 license)  75B, 52 in 9MM, P-09,  and lastly a PCR.  Or is it a 75D?  It was advertised at Cabela's as a PCR, not cheap, but I wanted it.  Now what is correct?  I noticed the 75D on the slide, but the store clerk insisted it was a PCR.  It's a sweet gun and I popped the slide off and slid the Kadet .22 conversion on so I can shoot either cartridge with it.  What is the PCR business if the slide say's 75D?  Thanks for any enlightenment.

75 D Compact PCR. I have one and it's probably my favorite carry gun. It's light for a steel/alloy gun and it's deadly accurate. It's one of the guns I'll never sell.

The 75D, P-01 are the same weapon. The PCR is the Check police version

slight refinement - The 75D Compact and the PCR are the same. The P-01, IIRC, is a compact with a rail and was NATO approved in 2003.

Thanks for the correction.  I have a P -01. Thought all three were the same

If I remember correctly the PCR and P-01 are both considered to be compact guns and are dimensionally the same with the only difference being that the P-01 has and accessory rail in front of the trigger guard for lasers and/or lights while the PCR does not have the rail.

I also have a PCR and love it. The PCR is also approx. 4 OZ. lighter due to the aluminum frame.
