Steel Cased Ammo
« on: April 21, 2016, 11:28:38 AM »
If this has been discussed, sorry, I just got on the forum.  I have a CZ75B and was wondering if Wolf or S&B ammunition is safe to use in this firearm.  I was thinking that since it is from Europe then surely it could fire this type of ammo without problems.  Thanks :cheesy:

As a range officer for over 20 years, I have seen more trouble with steel cased ammo than anything.

It is safe to shoot.
However, my very limited experience indicates that it is harder to extract and shoots to a different POI than brass cased ammo.
YMMV, but why shoot junk ammo in your relatively expensive handgun?
